Pattern of the week

Pattern of the week

Rosa's Dress by

 Debbie Bliss

When creating this pattern Debbie Bliss stated that she was inspired by the beautiful dresses worn by Spanish children. Here at the garage we are inspired by the thoughts of spring time coming and how utterly adorable this would be! The top of this dress is knitted with a lovely cable and seed stitch design and then a simple cotton skirt is attached. With a fresh stock of sunny and bright colors of Baby Cashmerino you cant go wrong, and a small selection of fabrics you can choose from as well. We are currently working on a sample for the store so keep an eye out when you pop in next.

Paperwhites Delight!

Today I picked up some lovely paperwhite bulbs form my local greenhouse. I have never my self forced bulbs indoors and I have been wanting to try it for sometime. So first I needed to find something to grow them in. I wanted them to be grouped together for a nice dramatic look on my holiday table. I choose a old tin baking pan and filled it 3/4 the way with soil. Then placed the bulbs in and topped them off with a bit more soil. I still need to add a bit of moss or something else, Not sure what it will be.
